About
I'm Joe Conrad. I'm not a pastor. I'm not a theologian.
I'm just someone who's been walking with God long enough to learn a few things the hard way — and who believes what I've learned might be useful to you today.
Five years ago my life came apart. And in the middle of that, I had to figure out what it actually meant to abide in Christ — not just believe in Him, but stay connected to Him, every single day, in the middle of real life.
When I gave my life to Christ, nobody handed me a manual. I knew I was changed. I just didn't know what to do with that on a Tuesday morning. I had to figure that out slowly, imperfectly, over time. And I'm still figuring it out.
That's what This Abiding Life is about.
Not theology lessons. Not perfect answers. Not performance. Just honest daily conversation about what it looks like to keep returning to God — when life is loud, when faith feels distant, and when you're not sure you're doing any of this right.
This site exists as a resource for people who are right where I've been — drifting, struggling, and trying to find their way back. Whether you're looking for something to watch, something to read, or just trying to figure out what it means to abide in Christ on an ordinary Tuesday morning, you're in the right place.
Because healing isn't a moment. It's a daily return.
And you were never meant to carry this alone.
